Drag a place onto a day. That’s the whole thing.
Search real places — Google Maps, your saved lists, your friend's shared list — and drop them onto the day they belong to. Routes auto-fill between stops, in walking, driving, or transit.
Plotted is a map-first trip planner for the kind of traveller who keeps three browser tabs and a paper notebook open at once. Drag places onto days, plot routes the way you’ll actually walk them, and bring everyone you’re going with along for the planning.
The planner is one screen: a sidebar of days and lists, a map you can drag pins onto, and a topbar that knows whether you’re still planning or already there. Every place, every route, every photo lives in one place — and travels with you offline.
Plotted does fewer things than other trip apps and treats each of them as a finished design problem. Every feature here is one dragged interaction away from where you already are in the app.

Invite travel companions by email or link. Avatars show who's online, which day they're on, and which stop they just edited. Conflicts resolve themselves.
Accommodations span multi-day stays. Transport auto-routes between stops. Empty afternoons stay empty until you fill them — no fake activities to pad the day.
Plotted is a planner first. But your trip can be more than a private document — share it free with the people who asked for your Tokyo list, or publish it as a paid guide for strangers who keep DMing you about it.
Build a trip on the map. Drag places onto days, auto-route transport between stops, invite companions to edit in sync. Free for life.

I used to keep a spreadsheet, a Google Doc, and a Maps list per trip. Now I just have one tab open. Even my partner uses it, and he has opinions about software.Anya R. · planning trip no. 14 on Plotted · Brooklyn

The planner is free during beta. When the marketplace opens for paid guides we'll charge creators a small platform fee on sales; the planner itself stays free for trip planning and friends-share collaboration.
Your trips are yours. Export your account as a single JSON blob, export any trip as iCal, or import places via Google Maps lists, KML, or Takeout. We don't sell anything to anyone. If you delete your account, every byte is gone within 30 days.
Yes. Once you've opened a trip while online, it's cached — pins, routes, photos, days. You can edit on the plane and we'll sync when you land.
It's the fastest path through OAuth and the surface we wanted to keep small for the beta. Apple and email login are on the roadmap.
Plotted is a Progressive Web App — add it to your home screen and it behaves like a native app, offline-capable. Native iOS / Android wrappers come later.
Yes. Paste a Google Maps share link, drop a KML file, or import a Takeout export. We dedupe against your existing pins so nothing duplicates.
Free during beta. No credit card. Bring your travel companions. The first trip takes about ten minutes to plot.
